INFORMATION FOR PARTICIPANTS IN SURVEY

SURVEY TITLE: Doggy Diaries Web Survey

AIM:

This questionnaire is part of a larger study into the factors contributing towards a successful human dog bond. This particular section of the study is aimed at identifying how UK dogs spend the majority of their time.

METHOD:

You will be asked in sections 1 & 2 to give some general information about yourself and your dog. In section 3 you are asked to complete a number of questions relating to specific activities your dog may be involved in on a regular basis. Section 4 looks at any undesirable behaviours that your dog may exhibit and then section 5 gives you an opportunity to record any further information or advice you would like to give to new or potential dog owners.

CONFIDENTIALITY:

None of the questions asked relate to your name or address and therefore the responses given will remain anonymous. All the data collected will be analysed within the University of Lincoln and will remain strictly confidential. Participation in the survey is on a voluntary basis only.

RESULTS:

If you would like to recieve a summary of the results you are entitled to do so. This can be requested at the end of the survey. We will require your name and e-mail address so that we can send you the report. These details will be kept seperate from your questionnaire reponses to preserve your anonymity.
